ford focus power outlet?

hi

can anyone help? I have a 2006 ford focus lx and my front power outlet is not working. the manual says there is also one in the boot. I have looked and looked and cant see it anywhere. does anyone know if there is one, and if so where it is.

we have a long car journey tomorrow and I could really do with my sons portable dvd on to stop some of the whinging!

I have a 2002 Focus, and this has a second power outlet for the rear seats, it's between the front seats at the back of the handbrake console (if that makes sense) - kinda where old cars used to have an ashtray!

Yep, as above....

I had a couple of 6 month Focus rentals and the fuse would blow on the cigarette lighter very easily....

The fuse box is a !!!!!! to get at though.

Same problem on a ford ka, the fuse would blow every couple of weeks,which is ridiculous, Fords answer... "its designed for lighting cigs, not sat nav/ phones etc".
Anyway I ended up replacing the socket, its not a big job and touch wood no more problems.
