Shower cubicle for loft conversion?

Can anyone give me their opinions on shower cubicles please?

Its to go in a loft conversion and has to be cheap and cheerful for now.

Nothing fancy, a plain old electric power shower to go in it.

I have a irrational (rational in my house) fear of showers leaking along the bottom, so one that we can say shouldn't leak in the worlds most unlucky house for bathrooms leaking (we have had 3 floods in our bathroom!).

All these companies are coming up with big fancy things and all I want is a caravan style jump in, wash and jump back out type thing.

(still in planning stages, although not actually going through building regs because the stair way head clearance is a few cm short, but we need the extra bedroom without losing a bedroom)

    Try Trueshopping.com (.co.uk??)
I got my fancy one from them for a reasonable price so the cheap and cheerful ones shouldnt break the bank.

Go to plumber merchants such as plumb centre etc.
Also Screwfix, although I cant vouch for the quality, Check for 6mm glass which i think is standard quality, just ask about this.
Best to get a ceramic base, not plastic type stuff.
homebase have reg got deals on good showers too.

I know that Wickes showers are made by big rep firms, ask them to tell you who!!
