paypal business question

Hi,

I'm a long time lurking and reader. After finding answers to other questions by searching these forums I thought you might be able to help me with something paypal related.

I have an online business and you can buy things from my website and pay via paypal.

When someone pays me I want it to come up in their paypal as the business name and not mine. When I've purchased items on ebay or on other websites I have seen under the name/email/phone section a business name or something else come up and not their real name. Seems like a simple request but I cannot work it out. Also some of the buyers I've bought from on ebay or websites don't seem to have anything extra that I don't.

I have changed the settings in my profile to come up my business name on the credit card but I want it to come up in paypal as my business name. This only works on the credit card statements. If someone buys from me, it comes up

business name and then my name.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
You can have it under your business name.

Sign in to paypal, click on profile and under account information click business information.

At the bottom of the page there will be a button that says upgrade. Click it and enter your business information such as business name, email address, business address, customer support telephone numbers. Now your account will be under your business name. This upgrades your account to a business account.

It will say business name (brackets your name) but when people pay you they will only see your business name.

By the sounds of it you have the business bit set up (and note that the upgrade button will not be there) and it should be coming up with your business name, so it's all working as it should.
