AA Internet Extra - Faster Payments?

Hi guys

Does anyone know if the AA account Martyn has highlighted in his e-mail allows Faster Payments to and from it?

I have followed the link here and am none the wiser:

Thanks

You can transfer money into the AA account by Faster Payments (if the sending bank supports them) but transfers out are by BACS which is slower. I think that to get a Faster Payment in you need to send it from your external account, not use the deposit facility on the AA website.

Oh the joys of technology. I've just tried to apply for the AA Internet account but, after filling in all the forms, got a "time out" error! Do I have an account or not? Of course, it's a Bank Holiday weekend so may not be able to check until Tuesday!

When I opened an AA Internet account I received an automated email confirming the account had been opened within a couple of minutes of applying, so if you haven't received such an e-mail you probably don't have an account.
