Television in conservatory

Is it safe to put a television in a conservatory?

I'm concerned the direct sunlight and heat will damage it.

Thanks

You could cover it with a nice doily when you're not watching it.. ;)

My parents had a CRT tele in their conservatory for years with no ill effects. Now swopped it for an LCD. Must say I never considered it would be a problem.

Friend of mine has an LCD in a huge conservatory and its been fine for a few years, one thing to make sure is you dont get one with a glossy screen (avoid plasma for this reason - only time i would ever advise LCD over plasma is in a conservatory !!)

If I had a conservatory and if I wanted to put a LCD or any other sort of TV in it. It would never have occurred to me that there might be a problem. I would have just installed it without another thought.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
