Post office lifestyle protection, anyone have it?

I have post office lifestyle protection and have been claiming for a few months. One thing i cant find in the terms and conditions is whether they continue to take my monthly premium when a claim is ongoing. they are doing on mine but i know someone who is also claiming and they are not taking his monthly premium.
After speaking to them they said they do take it but then again they said they could change the terms and conditions at a late stage only to be told differently by the FSA
does anyone else have experience of this? or is it common for premiums to be taken when a claim is on going?
Cheers
Liam

I too would like to know this if possible. I've been claiming for 3 months now and i've just discovered that they have cancelled my direct debit for some reason.0
