i rang in my figures on monday to tax credits, so i decided to ring today to get my actual figures.
lady said the paperwork was not done but i am getting an extra payment of...
£13.67 and £3.83
now my income was £900 less than originally estimated, so should i not have got a bit more back i was told my another person on here around 40%....
hope someone can advise thank you

Depends entirely on your earnings.
You could estimate your earnings at £35k and earn only £25k and you would not be entitled to any extra payment as both £25k and £35k are in the family element only part of tax credits. (The same basic amount of £545pa)
I guess you stated around £20k and earned around £19k?0 -
our joint earnings were £20,600 but we estimated them april last year at £21,500....
so does this mean that what i got today is it.... as my last award notice said i might get a potential payment of £80......
or would it produce another payment when the paperwork is done ??0 -
i forgot to say i did tell them my childcare costs had reduced from monday this week, they get i get a 4 week run on, but would this make a difference. ??0

Do you have only 1 child?
If so, then yes this is probably right.0
