I Really Really Want Sky!

it's not just the money Sky costs that puts me off, it's the thought of giving my hard-earned dosh to Rupert Murdoch ... who has quite enough already, I think, apart from anything else you could say about him!!0

Hi - yesterday I phoned sky pleading poverty and we would have to ditch sky! The guy came back with " What do you want it for?" I told him my husband would miss the footie & he offered us just the football package for £5!!!!!DMP starts June 2012, £38,180.
Balance June 2015 £26,046 (paid off 32%)

I quote.
"12:30 AM Full coverage of the annual curtain raiser between Chelsea and Liverpool." . Source, The Radio Times. Link to BBC here.
This does appear to be the whole match. Why Chelsea and Liverpool contest it every year is not fully explained by the RT. Why it is on so early in the morning is another mystery.
The thing that annoys me the most is when Sky and the BBC pay pundits to talk about a football match as they look at it on a hidden TV screen. The goal action snippets are often visible first on BBC News 24.

SS you should volunteer to do the fan's commentary for sky (if they still so it) Might be the start of a whole new careeer.0

you know i love you darling!
best thing i can say is hit the snowball calculator. work out your dfd (tho i'm sure you have it already) then take off the cost of sky from your payments to debts and see how much longer it'll take you to get debt free. if your happy to live in debt for that extended period then get it. if your not happy then think it could be worse...i bought that big fancy telly thats made for watching footie...and cancelled my sky and license a month later after my lbm! :rolleyes:0
