I Really Really Want Sky!

  • I wish I could have sky as well. The cricket highlights is just not the same as properly watching the test. Specially since we have the Ashes in Australia soon.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!

I understand SS, I really do. I feel the same about test cricket....I hate Sky I really do but even I was tempted to look into it for the cricket.

But then my hatred of Sky overtook me and I'm ok now...!

I'm not going to get it but it really hurts not being able to have it! I know it sounds sad but I love it with a passion! :o

When I'm debt free I'm gonna get Sky and MASSIVE telly to watch it on! :D

If I ever win the lottery, I'll sort you out with Sky and a telly

Keep your chin up chuck, you WILL get a MASSIVE, HUGE, BIG ,LARGE , GIGANTIC, TV to watch your footie on.Just think when you do get your mega telly the prices will have dropped, and the technology will have improved evev more than it has already done. Keep smiling.

I got rid of Sky not because of debt but because we were paying out a fortune to watch repeats and not watch sport and films. If you work out how much it costs to have Sky and divide it by the things you really want to watch you will find you are better off going to the pub to watch the game. I sympathise but I think it's appalling the one company have this monopoly. We just got a new TV with a Freeview tuner built in so we had the ariel upgraded and have now chucked the Skybox out completely, OK you don't get as many channels but it's FREE and you can get top up TV if you want more channels.

Just keep thinking how much nearer you are to your big TV and full Sky subscription when you are debt free and remember how well you are doing:T

    SS,

divide cost of sky footie by number of pints per month. *must* be £15 for basic package plus another £15 for sports.

How many is it? About 4 pints a week?

Wouldn't you rather be having those pints in pub watching the game?

I would love SKY I really would, but we have Freeview which isn't all bad, as we can choose between Sky Sports News and Score Interactive on the BBC, which is better than nothing!

I just hope they limit the number of times Garth Crooks is on the BBC this year, otherwise I might have to spend some hard saved cash on a new TV coz I'll have put my foot through the old one!!
