Prestige Fridge Freezer

I bought this particular brand of fridge thinking it looked nice. However, i did not buy this from Comet (Their own brand i think). I bought this from a local retailer who deals in white goods and such which have cosmetic damage and hence available at reduced price.

The receipt stated 3 months guarantee. I bought it in July August last year.

Now the fridge freezer has stopped working. Google search reveals this to be a quite common problem.

My question is even though i probably cant get the retailer to replace it, would it still be under the manufacturers warranty ? If so who are they....
