I bought my current flat about 7 years ago in a 30's mansion block. The previous owners had installed double glazing.
They got permission from the managing agents, and all of the flats which have replaced the windows have exactly the same style of double glazing.
I have not got a copy of the permission the previous owners received, the managing agents records don't seem to go back that far.
My buyer before exchange wants permission? What is the quickest thing to do?

Just ask the managing agents to confirm in writing that the double glazing does in fact have permission (in other words, give YOU permission to have the double glazing).(AKA HRH_MUngo)

If you nor the managing agents have proof of the permission ever being granted then the purchaser could take out indemnity insurance, possibly a couple of hundred quid.Getting older is inevitable, growing up is optional :rotfl:0
