Cool! I got over £200-worth in the post today, saving them for a holiday next year!

I bumped up my points by buying other people's till-spit receipts or named extra points coupons on eBay. Also asking friends and family if they had any coupons they will otherwise be binning - now is the time to ask as they will have been sent some extra points offers with their Clubcard vouchers.

You could even organise a 'coupon swap' between friends - I have not done this but have often toyed with the idea of such a get-together with other school-gate Mums. Coffee morning with coupons chucked in! (either money-offs that you can use as cash without buying the product, or extra-points for Clubcard/Nectar/Boots, all bring the ones you may not use and swap/buy!).

It doesn't matter that some coupons have a surname on, they work with any clubcard....at the moment!

I also wombled dropped Tesco receipts in the carpark and got the points added to my card manually but this can result in a warning letter from Mr T head office if you overdo it!

  • I won 1,000 tesco points by swiping a voucher at a till to be entered into a competition and I won !!!!!!

Had 2 of the 4 expected mailings today with some nice clubcard vouchers eg 500 points for spending £20 on clothing and one for a free mars delight choccie bar !!

I have a master plan now sometimes clothing vouchers can be combined so if I "spend" £50, use a £10 off a £50 spend, £6 off a £30 spend, £4 off a £20 spend, £3 off a spend of £15 and another one £5 off a £25 spend , and another one £5 off a £20 spend - I will have spent £50 and will have only to hand over £17 !!! and gained £20 in MFI deals top bargain Welshy x

Now of course this is subject to having a nice cashier and the till accepting them, each coupon is different so the till should accept them. Being a mum to 4 children I am just looking at ways to save money on the school uniform and this seems like a good way.
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)
  • HI I keep beeing sent vouchers from tescos instead of saving my points. does it mean if I dont use the money off vouchers it does not come of points, thought you all might know, as I have only really just joined tesco recently. I am usually with sainsburys nectar and they send money off vouchers to use and leave you keep points as well.

    Thanks

Well done on your win Welshy!! :T

Yep, you should be able to combine clothing coupons, I did when I was sent some by Tesco for joining one of their clubs. Strange that the coupons do all scan together....but as you say, just find the right (male) cashier who doesn't care/notice then you are away!

Among your shopping chuck in some Cheesy Wotsits and Aero chunky packs (if your store has the BOGOF shelf labels up for these, neither is working) and you've got yourself an R&R too. It's an easy one that they can't wriggle out of so don't let your previous R&R experience worry you! But I would put these goodies with a few other bits as a separate transaction as you don't want CS looking at your main receipt with all the coupons deducted.....;)

Well, firstly don't EVER use them as money-off vouchers at the till, they are worth much more in deals (see the Tesco website).

But if you don't want to use the vouchers yet they are valid for 2 years anyway, and even after that time (if they expire) you can ask Head Office to add them back to your voucher total....why not save up for a holiday or something, could take a year or two but you've then got a free holiday!

Forget Nectar, I have a few of these points but there is no comparison with the 2 schemes, Tesco Deals win hands down - just look at

https://www.tesco.com and search for clubcard deals...! :o
