Cahoot cash deposits

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone else had come across this. I recently paid in £800 in cash to my Cahoot current account and although I can see it on my statement, it's not showing as available funds yet.
I called Cahoot and they told me that CASH deposits over £500 take 4-5 days before they become available, but in the meantime, it is still earning me interest. Great.
What's also interesting is that I can't see where they have notified of this and I've asked them to provide me with a link to the policy on this. No other bank does it, do they?
