Keep us updated as to how you get on.

Just out of interest have you paid the account in full now or are you still on the arrangement?

If you have paid it off what does it say on your credit file?- I paid my barclaycard off in feb and closed the account and it's still not been updated-

i will do mate no problem, i came out of the arrangements and continued payin the monthly payments, if i am right from what i have read if you pay off the account and then close it the arranged payments stay on your credit history for 6 years, i have done this on one but big but for future applications, if you come out of the arrangement and then leave the account open they will be removed by the lender after three years. . . . so try to keep your credit card account open and use is once a month and pay it off straight away and you will improve your score aswel as encourage the lender to remove the arranged payment. . . make sense????

my credit file shows no defaults, ccj's just 3 to 4 missed payment in a row with an ap next to them. . .

if you can get a mortgage with settled ccjs and defaults which people on here have i dont think ap's are a massive problem thats what the m.advisor at the abbey said to me, but if he is on commission he is bound to say that lol.

ill keep you informed, ill be able to let you know thurs

Assuming these lenders said know there are other routes to potentially look at. Speak to a decent broker.

Finalised our application today in santander and has been sent to head office for the underwriters to run the rule, the guy said it will be because its a private sale and to double check our affordability which was accepted with a note to double check?? we find out tomorrow the guy said if he felt it wasnt going to go through he wouldnt send it because it would waste both his and our time. . . . again i ask the question do MA's get commission for all applications or just successful ones???? Fingers and toes crossed!!! Hopefully i will have a AIP tomorrow afternoon!!! If not it will be time to ask a broker then ill give up lol
