Guarentour??
Writing letters to lenders etc??

    Guarantor won't change anything.

Some more detail would be good

What's your situation - purchase, remortgage?
    Property value?
    Amount you're borrowing?

With a 20-25% deposit there should be options depending on when this arrangement started and if it shows as a default.

basically i am buying my nans house who sadly passed away last year, im getting an excellent deal, 110000 pound dorma bungalow for 80000 with a deposit of 10%, 20% at a serious push. i have had two arrangements one about six years ago on a orange phone and one in 2008 on a credit card through pure stubborness. which seems to have cost me, i have taken my credit history in to the abbey today and they think that it wont be a problem, they are more bothered about if it is a money laundering scam lol in sayin that the natwest said they didnt see it as a problem either, do advisors work on commission??

Is there another way to keep the ouse?

Whats the situation with the house?

    Debts in the estate?
Who will own it when the estate is finalised
If it is being sold in the estate have all the benifitiaries agreed to an under market sale.

I'm kind of in the same situatuon as you re AP on my credit file- I've just paid off the whole balance and am waiting for my credit file to be updated- as I understood it your file gets marked as satisfied- it is only equifax that mark it as this though- on expirian my score is really good.

We are looking to get a mortgage soon -my partners credit is really good so I'll be really interested to see how you get on- fingers crossed! Have you tried a whole of the market broker? I'm a bit worried about our plans going wrong too due to my mistake!
