Hi Guys
I am currently doing my extension work and I have decided to put french door as entry to my Garden from my lounge. So this french door will be external one. Seeing so many different companies in market I am not sure what exactly should I look when selecting quality doors. Please can anyone advice on Locking system, what type of double glazing glass, upvc material and anything which I should be concern of .
can anyone give me approximate cost for these french door with 2000mm width and standard height ?
Also any suggestion for vendor will be appreciated

Hi
French doors don't normally go above 1800mm, 1900mm at a push. Regarding glass K glass is pritty much standard now, but remember that in an extension you will need a U-value of 1.8 or lower so Argon Gas will properly be needed. Locking system without Hook bolts are generally not recommender by the IBA (Institute of British insurers).
