Ordnance Survey Helpline

Yesterday (11th August) had to phone them up regarding a query about making copies of their maps. OS maps are heavily copyrighted and most copy shops will refuse to allow them to be copied.

Anyways, got straight through within 3 rings, spoke directly to a human who told me their name. They were almost certain of the answer but needed to check it out, so they said, they woudl call me back.

They did - within the hour, with an exact answer to my question. That in itself required some more following up, so the OS agent said they would call me back before 10 the next day. And at 9.45 they did precisely that and concluded my query.

Now, I am sure most people would have little reason to use the OS map helpline, even though it's a public service, but hey why can't every customer service operation work like this.
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.
