Usage Calculator?

Is there such a thing as a gas and electric calculator to see if what I am paying is about right?

Our bills have doubled over the past year and we are now paying £50 per month on each account. Obviously usage depends on lots of variables like house size, appliances etc but I am just after a rough guide to ease my mind.

There is a sticky up top which gives average consumption.
Mine is £344 with EBICO semi 3 bed live solo .A mid terrace should be cheaper and a detached a lot dearer.
Also depends how many in the house, and all the different appliances. Loadsa info about reducing usage, so go for it even if you can afford not to.
High insulation has a good return on investment, but little point if money is being wasted elsewhere.

Am I doing something wrong? All I get is a comparison with other suppliers, not a calculation of what my bill should be.

Edit: Oh, just spotted the average consumption figures below the form.
