Second hand Crittall windows- worth anything???

We are planning a major refurbishment which includes a loft conversion. Unfortunately we are going to replace our existing crittall windows (diamond leaded on both sides of the glass) with the dreaded double-glazed Upvc or aluminium.
I know that in some quarters this is considered sacreligious however I do not think I can go through another winter with ice constantly forming on the inside of the windows not to mention the condensation.
I was wondering whether or not the old windows would be worth anything when I have them removed and if so who do I approach to sell them to. They all appear to be in perfect conditon. I know some companies produce double-glazed crittall windows but the costs are prohibitive.
All comments/ideas welcome.

Try them on ebay. At worst they will have a scrap value for the steel in them.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

have you tried a building reclamation yard - as they are diamond leaded they may be worth reselling0

I am sure there is quite a bit of value in them depending on their age. There is an article in our local paper this week on someone who is renovating some old buildings and wanted to reproduce the Crittall windows and they were quoted £1140 per window for someone to make the reproductions.
There might be other options than taking them out so perhaps you should research via Google further -or maybe your local council planning department/building inspector could help further?0
