As expected the house we have just bought needs rewiring. We are not living there currently as we knew work needed to be done so can anybody advise how long a full rewire will take?

Impossible for anyone to say unless you give some idea of size and extent of the problem.0

Depends how big the house is and what you are having done. A three bed semi on a like for like basis is probably a weeks work. If you are having new sockets, lighting etc put in then it will take more. But much easier for the electrician to work in an empty place than one that is furnished with carpets etc.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
