Fiver sounds very expensive for covers....
The whole chair cover thing is my pet peeve too - but one I was exploring was to buy the chair covers and see if someone at the venue will do them for u? One venue said if I bought them they would charge me £50 (50chairs) to do them for me. So, if chair cover + sash is about £2 each, so say you've got 100 chairs it could be a lot cheaper! Plus you can sell them afterwards on ebay!
Luckily, the venue I am negotiating with (actually this will be happening tomorrow via phone so wish me luck!) their package came with chair covers but not sashes.... so I'm planning to buy them (about £1 each on the net) have roped in my sister to tie them for me!!!0 -
