Well, I know you get what you pay for, but we bought a watering system about 4 or 5 years ago now from QVC. I saw it on their website and it was under £20.00. We have a timer on the tap and water 5 hanging baskets, a very large tub, and about 4 pots. It works fine. Trouble is I can't vouch to say that what they sell now is as good or the same thing.

I've found the hozelock system to be fine, which I've used for pots; the parts for are far cheaper online than in the DIY sheds.

Thanks everyone, think I'm going to go with either Hozelock Deluxe or Aquapod - will take a look at both over the weekend

Let me know which one you choose - as I am torn between them too. It looks like Deluxe can water more pots straight away, and with Aquapod you need to get an extra pod if you want to do that...

    Desisions, decisions...

sjl1970 - did you have a look on the systems and have you decided on one?...

I went to B&Q and a local garden centre over the weekend, but they didn't have Hozelock ones in to take a look.

I am considering getting Hozelock Deluxe, then running the pipe all along the border of my garden to the patio on the other side of the house (still beck garden), so I can have it all watered and forget the watering can and hose. I would also need to "split" the tap in two, as I want to have the watering system and my OH uses it for running RO system for your fishtanks.

Or, I could get Aquapod and use it for the patio pots, and then I could get another supply pipe for the borders (very little flowers, mainly veg...). Does anyone know if I can do that: get Aquapod system, and run that to the patio area for the pots, and use another outlet from the water computer to run supply pipe around?... If I noticed correctly, the Aquapod system gives you two outlets from water computer (pressure reducer)...

My local B&Q has the full hoze lock kits, including all the individual bits and bobs as well and its only a mini warehouse.

Mine is a big B&Q, but there was only one Hozelock kit (lazy watering), and barely any bits.
