Okay so say two friends shared a place owned by a HA and decided to move to private and claim LHA would they fill in an LHA form each or have one as 'someone else who lives with you' say lodger or would the council see you as a couple even if your not

I am not sure why you are asking this question - according to other posts, you are moving in with your partner.

I am, never said it was me. I've just heard that councils tend to see people as couples even if they aren't.

Councils will judge each situation on its merits. There is no automatic assumption either way.

Maybe they just see people as couples even when they pretend not to be...

Funny, I only went to a course on Living together this week!!

A council won't consider you a couple if you aren't a couple. However, if you aren't a couple and are both out of work, you may be worse off under LHA than if you are?
