House Buying - Potential Noisy Neighbours

    It's obviously noisy to them if the boyfriends coworker is saying he knows them and they are moving in part because of the noise,

    I am not disputing the noise, but they dont have to declare the noise if they have never raised disputes over it.

    You could contact the local councils Noise Team to see if they would share any information they have on the property with you. Other than that I would certainly check the property out at different times of day and definitely knock on surrounding neighbours. I am trying to move purely because of the noisey neighbours I have on both sides of my terraced house........LOUD,LOUD music, shouting over the music is their general conversation and its just hell. Noise Patrol have been excellent but it takes a hell of a lot of complaints for an eviction. After a Noise Patrol visit everyone is sorry for a few days then it starts again. I am looking for a small detached house which I can barely afford but needs must! .......by the way, no-one told my Mum when she moved in to her new home that a band practices in the large garden shed a few yards from her conservatory. I always think if you have doubts you answer your own question.
