    OK I have just got back home and wanted to add this to the post as I have done previously on other threads;

    The technology special offers tab is a great place to find a bargin glitch, you should check often. You really need to click each item up to see a glitch. What often happens is they apply the 50% discount twice or a £xx off twice, so you may see a reduced price on the main screen like the alarm clock and then 50% again when clicked up. I think as they run two types of offers the programmers sometimes apply both types of offer to the same thing. This has happened to loads of items from TVs, laptops, cookie makers, auto bottle openers, wine coolers .... BUT you need to click each item to find a glitch - I do this most days if I remember.

    Again like the ipod bar thingy, sometimes when you click it up it has two offers applied when only one is ment to be shown eg like the phones the other month.

    hope that helps.

    Do you search all pages of the tech offers, as it says 11pages at moment but when i click on them it comes up with an advert for dine in £10 blah

    Edit: Sorry how very rude of me, should of said Big Thanks for this and your other threads, posts etc.

    yes 11 pages but change to 60 per page, you get a feel for what is newly added or had an offer put against etc eg I check a few phones, a few cameras etc to see if a new promoyion has been added. eg the clock radio has had the special offer price for a while but today had the big black box £50 off showing, thats why I knew to check it first, then found the other items clicking through.

    Why can't people be nice to each other? MSE says "Pls be nice to all MoneySavers. ........ even if you disagree courtesy helps."

    Must say thanks Claire for all your postings. I have had some good bargains thanks to you.

    I wonder if some of this is done purposely and isn't in fact a glitch? Take the alarm clock for instance, it's been reduced from £79 to £39 as a previous offer then reduced to £19.50 at checkout because of the new offer. Why ? Possibly because this DAB radio/alarm clock is now obsolete and no longer in production. Maybe they're just trying to offload outdated goods quickly, like wise with the £279 netbook reduced to £175 which is being replaced next month with a newer model and Windows 7.

    Either way they're both good deals of that there is no doubt.

    I agree the netbook is just a reduction but the clock is a glitch, they will change it by tomorrow, the error always occurs giving the same discount a second time in all the glitches we have found inc a nice spec lap top a few weeks ago and a decent TV. There was a good portable DVD player too that worked out free. The automatic wine bottle opener got discounted to nothing because of the error also.

    Ooh ooh!! Just spotted a FREEBIE!!

    Automatic corkscrew (!) showing at £12.50, but when you go through to checkout it applies a 'technology' discount of £12.50, so therefore free (plus any P&P charges of course!!)

    Too right, that Sony Bravia wasn't a glitch. 40" with full HD etc, worked out at £420 once I'd used Quidco and my Amex cashback card.

    Claire, I'll say it again, you're a little gem! The GF will be well pleased with the DAB alarm, she's been looking for one for ages. I'm giving it too her for her Birthday on saturday - should get some brownie points for that ;)
