Not in CPI (the quoted index), it's not.

Double digit HPIS is here like I said.

    Me too.:D

Started a thread about it several months ago.;)

But anyone with half a brain could predict this one.

What's more shocking is that anyone could be so monumentally stupid as to think it wouldn't happen.

It takes a truly special level of idiocy to be that badly wrong......:rotfl:

Inflation again. Are we taking bets yet on when the base rate is going to have to go up...and up?

I'll take a bet on that...... What did you have in mind?:D

It's amazing, the country's fcked yet house prices keep on rising.

It'll be interesting to see whether they can defy gravity indefinitely. Only time will tell. If you can't even invest safely in Government bonds then maybe a 2 bed terrace in Leeds is the best investment left. I have my doubts but what do I know?

I'll take it you were one of those "special" people who thought double digit HPI wouldn't happen.....

I agree, it's weird that prices go up with more are entering the market than being sold.

    Something is up.

    There's nothing amazing about it.

It's been blindingly obvious for quite some time.

they can't defty gravity at all, they will have to re-correct - a 1% rise is big and it all leads to a 0.9% drop being just as big the next month.

i still stick to my view that the 2008 drops were too much and 2009 corrected these big drops. these rises will need a correction at some point soon.
