Received my energy monitor from SSE (Ebico) a few days ago, ordered in December 09!
It has a jaw and transmitter.
A lcd monitor receives the energy usage data and gives you constant energy updates, watts, total cost by day/month, kwh last 7 or 30 days, graph of night/day/eve usage of previous day and potential savings when a high energy device switches off.
I guess it is mostly common sense of higher power items raising your usage - kettles/irons/cookers/fires/microwaves/toasters/ etc. BUT the little adaptors and things you have to leave on that all add up to guzzle your power!!
Anybody else got one and did it help you save £££ ???
