I'm left with one set of car keys after the other set was stolen. How do I get another set and how much will they cost? I also had a Toad alarm immobiliser on the key ring so will the shop be able to order me a new one? I have the receipt and model number. Any advice appreciated.

Might help if you told us what car it is... I suggest taking it to the dealer and asking them how much they want for a new key. The other alternative is to go to a key cutters which should be able to help.
If the key has an inbuilt immobiliser chip you are probably best to go to the dealer, because they will remove the stolen keys code from the car meaning that it won't actually start the car anymore.
As for the Toad alarm, your only option is to contact Toad.0 -
I have a ford puma. When I bought the car, it came with one key. I ended up buying two more from ebay, and taking them all to my local locksmith, where he programmed them and cut two keys for the two new fobs.
All in all I saved about £200 (maybe more) than if I'd went to the dealership.
So, it really depends on what model of car you have and if has programmable fobs.
