Personally I think Christchurch is a fantastic place to live, quiet but only a bus ride from beach/big town.
But then I'm a bit biased, having lived here for about 17 years
How far would you say it was in mins for a car drive to the beach?
Good luck everyone and Thank you to all posters xx0 -
The link that someone posted on the local Echo website, that mentions Canford Heath and Rossmore - I live very close to Rossmore which is considered a terrible area - we haven't had one problem. I definitely haven't seen teenagers having sex in local gardens like it said in the Echo lol.
I have lived in Canford Heath twice, both times very close to Sherborn Crescent and it was lovely.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -

You can drive to southbourne beach in around ten minutes, closer to five from the centre of town. it's a lovely sandy beach, and quieter than Bournemouth and Boscombe. It's also very close to mudeford quay with it's ferry across to hengistbury head which is nice, and avon beach which is lovely to walk along but not really a sandcastle sort of beach.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thank you for this, I think sometimes the press do over exaggerate things but as outsiders we would believe them! so its great to have inside info from people that live in the areas in question!
