Credit check worries

I have viewd a house to let which me and my partner really liked and want it but i have to put down a deposit and a month upfront which i dont mind doing, The estate agent also wants £100 for each person moving in for credit checks so that will be £300 which i think is alot of money and a waste. Me and my partner plus my dad is guarantor so that is £300 is there any way around this?

Yes, you can find a landlord who rents their property directly to tenants or you can try to negotiate a reduction in the fee. Virtually all agents charge fees.0
