Email Photographs

When I try to email photographs I get a choice to keep photograph smaller to which I agree. Then I get another message which is to choose my profile and Microsoft Outlook is the only option, so I press OK. I then get another message which is from Microsoft Exchange and states "The form required to view this message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator." To which I have to click OK. What is wrong with the computer and how can I fix it? Can someone please help?

Can you tell us a bit more about the setup this is happening on? You say you are using Outlook and that you are getting error messages from Exchange - this makes it sound like a corporate or workgroup setup rather than a home PC, is that right?
Can you also tell us which version of Outlook you are using as the issues are different for OL 2000 and 2003?0 -

Thanks for responding! No. It is just my laptop. I do not have Outlook on the laptop but Outlook Express came on her when I got her brand new in February last year. I have an Office 97 cd and I put it on her for one spreadsheet (Martins). Then it seemed to cause problems so I took it off again.

It sounds like your Microsoft Outlook/Outlook Express is not set up properly. I'd suggest installing a good email client like Thunderbird (which is a lot more secure than Outlook Express) and setting up an email account using the mail details you got from your ISP. Then you would be able to send files via email using the right-click (on file) 'Send To' menu or within the program itself.

Also, you may want to have a look at OpenOffice, a free alternative to Microsoft Office. It handles most Microsoft Office documents well and it has its own versions of Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. The true cost of something is what you give up to get it.0 -
