if its a 1250cc then the core plugs in the cylinder head leak coolant into the spark plug holes shorting out the coil pack.
tbh they should be able to sort it without plug and play diagnostics0 -

Ever run the car out of fuel, could it be a blocked injector?0

coil pack then common fault on these also replace the leads as well0
