Hi there,

On my packard bell laptop (it's this one) http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/packard-bell-easynote-tj74-rb-050-red-04133678-pdt.html

I now can't delete my history on the toolbar. I used to be able to do it by clicking on clear history at the right hand bottom of the tool bar, but it has now disappeared and I can't get it to click on it. This may be because I have a LOT of history to delete - any tips please.

Thanks in advance xxx

It would help to tell us what browser are you using. And are you really mean the "Google Toolbar" or just the Google search in your browser?
  • I usually just hover the cursor over it and press delete, seems to work.

I don't know what broswer I'm using - how do you find out.

Above my favourites there is another section with norton on it and then a tool bar which has Google and you can see in a whitebox what my last search on google was if i click on this a drop down list falls down with all previous history.

before I used the be able to click on the clear history label in grey font at the bottom right hand siete - this has now gone.

If you don't know, then it's most likely Internet Explorer ;)

You can find out by clicking "Help" in the menu and then "About".

I use CCleaner to delete all cookies and history, download it free from FileHippo and it is super easy to use (am a technophobe :o).
