Help-Natwest Bank Charges

Options
Hi everyone,

Im sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but I need some advice.

I have been banking with Natwest for 10 years and have never had any problems. I have a £100.00 overdraft limit with them and have never been overdrawn etc.

Last month, I didnt realise and was dipping into my overdraft limit, I then had a (charity) DD leave my account which made me £15.04 overdrawn (for a few days). They have sent me a letter saying the are going to charge me £35.00. I am really unsure if they are allowed to do this?

What do I do-should I write a letter to them or visit them?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

  • As I stated to you via PM. If you have a good record with them then they should refund this as a gesture of goodwill.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
