Hi All - JC and Sweetpea in particular, Can you recommend reputable mystery shopping sites...?? I won't be treading on your toes (I presume you are both female) but I was thinking about it for my OH who is out of work through redundancy at the moment. I think he'd find it really interesting.
    Cheers. x

    Hiya :hello:

I use Grass Roots and Retail Eyes as they offer the most shops in this area, but I know alot of people use GFK as well, but they don't tend to offer many it this area.

    Hope that helps :o

    Good luck :D

I get a lot of jobs through GFK at the moment, used to get 1 or 2 with Grassroots but there is someone local to me who snapped them up as soon as they came online.

I once looked into it for me but I decided you needed to have a good memory to complete the forms afterwards - description of staff member if no name tag etc (I couldn't identify anybody if my life depended on it:rotfl:)

I apologise if there's a link to mystery shopping on page 1... I'm about to scoot over there now.

    Cheers. x

read the first couple of posts and get your OH to start registering with the companies listed. Gapbuster and Retail Eyes are good to 'cut your teeth' on, React are a decent company who are often looking for male shoppers. ESA have some good jobs as to GFK but basically the more you register the more chance you have of getting work. Sign up to the Alerts thread too - its very useful. He will be nervous but it does get easier and I really enjoy it :D

Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155
  • thanks aureol, JC & Sweetpea:T.

JC - you said he will be nervous and I'm sure he will but I do think he will love it - he's always fancied himself as a bit of an actor:rotfl: so I think this is a near miss to acting - he's got a fantastic memory and an English degree for the written word too - I think the perfect traits. The only problem is I know he won't want to register with HMRC so am gonna have to talk him round there... :)
I take it they ARE all on a self employed basis?

    Thanks again folks...

Hi Purple - caught the whoopsies at the right time today and made £8.44 worth of savings at Tesco and £14.54 at Asda - so that's my freezer filled with wholemeal loaves/rolls, fresh cobbler, mackerell & sardines, and other bits and pieces, and our tummies filled with donuts and cookies (just one of each really - honest), and lots of prepared fruit for tomorrow - the dogs will get the lunch tongue chopped up on their next couple of meals too so we are all happy

Anyway that makes my total £34.98 so far for the month :j :j

  • hi everyone. Slow starter this month but I've finally got round to listing 10 items on ebay tonight and I'm clearing the house out for a car boot sale this weekend. Still got a pile of stuff for ebay but do that tomorrow. The OH found some well ancient mobile phones when he was tidying some boxes up so between cashback sites and sending them back, managed to get £15.80 and £10 profit from ebay this weekend. Have promised myself to get signed up to the daily clicks, no excuses this month!!
On my way to well earned riches (I hope!) :T:T:T
