Ability Office to Powerpoint.......

Evening All

I wonder if someone can help me out!?

My son needs to take a 'slide show' into school but as I only have Ability Office and the school uses Powerpoint I'm at a lost as to how to do this!

I'm guessing the file won't open in Powerpoint? I did a quick google to see if I could get a free download of Powerpoint but couldn't see anything?

Would anyone have suggestions as to what I could do - as I really don't want to go out and buy Powerpoint as it would never be used again.

TIA

I have OpenOffice (v3.1) and the word processor package does not have an option to save as .ppt.

Surely you'd need to use Impress, the Powerpoint equivalent, to save it in a compatible format?

Maybe that is the solution. I haven't got Impress installed so I don't know.

Thanks for your help. I seemed to be having a blonde moment as I can save it as a ppt file using the Office software I have so all sorted now - thanks again for your replies.

If you have OpenOffice installed then Impress should be there too. It's part of OpenOffice.

    It isn't there.
I only chose to install Writer, Calc and Draw.
