Cheapest way to buy shares ?

I am thinking of dabbling in the stockmarket. Just small amounts so I want to keep brokers fees to a minimum. Any suggestions as to who I should use ?

Have a look at The Share Centre. I think they charge £7.50 up to certain value.
TD Waterhouse charge £12.50 or less for ten purchases in a month. And, have a look at the following link -
