AA Relay - text message code for £10?
Hoping someone might be ever so kind and be of some help!!
I had a text message this morning from the AA (with which I'm a member of - with the home start level of membership), it was saying I could upgrade to "Relay" for just £10 with a code to use. Alas I deleted the text message, as I always do, thinking I'd not need it. (My car is only 08 reg, I only joined the AA due to a puncture about 3 months ago and never had any other problems).
That was until about 45 minutes ago.... my car broke.
(Although then it worked again when I turned the ignition on again when the patrol man arrived..... embarrassing and annoying to say the least).
Anyway, I'm heading to Wales on a pre-arranged trip that I can't re-arrange on Saturday morning and have to leave then. I'm at work tomorrow and Friday so can't get my car into the garage before then for a check-up. (As the patrol man said he recommended doing that as he couldn't "fix" anything as by the time he got there it worked). He said that if I had "Relay" then I'd be safe on my way to Wales if it broke again as it would mean I could get towed to my destination. I have a toddler too so really need it - I'll be travelling on my own with my toddler!
Anyway, he rang in and asked if I could have it for £10 but alas no, its £29 (at best). Don't suppose anyone happens to have had the same message and doesn't need it do they?? Please!! (I know its a long shot but there is no harm in me trying - I really never thought I'd need "Relay" with a newish car thats been no problem til now).
