My 2 boys and I moved back with my parents last year so I could save a deposit to buy a house (previously renting). We move into our own home in just over a month! :j
I was previously with Scottish Power and discovered that they are supplying the property I am buying. Contacted them yesterday and discovered the property has a prepayment meter installed and to removed it they would charge me £48 plus hold a £150 deposit for 1 year! Not happy.
Did some research and one of the companies that appeared to remove these meters free of charge was Scottish Hydro Electric. Phoned to enquire and this is indeed the case
I was just wondering what everybody thought of them? They were certainly very helpful on the phone...

I used to use hydro, they were always quick to answer the phones and kept me upto date when i had a powercut. I was also in credit with them, and I phoned to get it transferred into my bank account, they did it with no problems/fuss. I may consider going back to them, I've just moved house.0
