Just phoned the Job Seekers Allowance Line...they cant understand it either why its not been back dated...I am literally banging my head against a brick wall and I need someone to help...I just feel that they dont want to know. LIke he said however that I would have been entitled to JSA so why cant they pay me ???

Delly - you also need to get in touch with CTC, FB and your housing people, and Council tax.
Some of these benefits are based on how many children you have - age not important - but you would've been receiving benefits for having three children in this time, when you've only been entitled to two children - or, did you inform the other agencies that you no longer had three children living with you? This might go in your favour if you have, as you've reported the changes, just unaware of the age issue. If you haven't though - you may find that you have overpayments with them, and possibly have been receiving housing benefit at a higher rate for a larger property entitlement as well. Best to get it all cleared up now if you need to.

Yes my child tax credits, child care stopped back in December when Ryan went living with his dad and his dad started claiming. I have had a phone call from the benefits agency who told me that I need yet another appeal form !!!!!!!!!!!! APPEAL APPEAL APPEAL but does anyone win an appeal ????
