As much as it's against my principles to see people selling freebies, I have seen tons of tickets on eBay going for as little as 99p for four. Might be worth checking out. Ordinarily I wouldn't dream of it though.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo, how cheeky for people to be selling them!!!!!!! I'd rather not go than pay some cheeky little bu**er for tickets!!!!

I have 6 spare tickets (there was a large group of us and now some people have double booked themselves). If you'd like them please pm me

    Got my tickets!

This will be the 4th or 5th year that I've been and it's a great day / weekend out.

Parking is free as has been previously mentioned but you will want to get there as early as possible. The amount of people attending each day means that long queues quickly build up along the A43. The traffic was actually worse than when I went to the F1GP because they don't make the A43 one way for the World Series as they do for the F1!

I was fortunate enough to book two rooms for this event at the Silverstone Premier Inn.

However, I have just had a phone call from Premier Inn to say the Silverstone Premier Inn was razed to the ground on Monday night - suspicious circumstances, two individuals arrested.

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/northamptonshire/10517959.stm

I was offered alternative bookings at Daventry or Northampton, both 11 miles from venue, so at least there is an alternative (works out £10 a night cheaper too, so MSE I suppose).

Bit of a shock and disappointment, but at least there was an alternative hotel offered, and my thoughts go out to the employees of the Silverstone Premier Inn who now unexpectedly have lost their place of work. Also really bad timing with it being the Grand Prix this weekend

I've not managed to get on here for a while due to work commitments.

GUTTED I missed out on this. I used to work at Silverstone (and other places) - selling T Shirts. Its a fab weekend - everyone is in good form and the racing is brilliant.

If anyone has any tickets they want to get rid of - pm me please. xxxxxxxxxx
