I'm really pleased with it especially as we couldn't do it properly - quite tempted to do it again!:rotfl:

We've figured out if we keep the baby up till 10 she'll sleep through to 6 so thats the plan for the minute at least a solid block of sleep is much nicer.

The new boiler is being installed next week, can't wait the horrid fire in the living room will be gone but it does mean the whole house needs decorating once its done:mad: but it needs doing anyway really

And I lost 4lb at fat club and got to my stone and a half woo!

  • What a week!! The new boiler is in - worked for all of 12 hours before packing in:mad: but luckily it was just a blown fuse which had messed up the main board?! and once it was replaced it worked fine so we've had hot water for most of the week:D

Yesterday we managed to finally decorate the baby's room (she's almost 8 months old now) so she will be moving in there in the next day or two!!! Can't wait we're hoping we'll all sleep better as she's quite noisy and wakes me up and I end up waking her up thinking she's awake. Need to go buy her some curtains today then its just a case of getting something to fill up the walls as there just plain at the moment.

Money's not too bad at the moment (I think!) got £64 from quidco which bought the baby her new car seat and a new sleeping bag so it felt like they were free:D got another £7 coming in the second September payment. From my other cashback sites (which are all between 2-20p a day) I've got £8 in a savings account which I'm deteremined not to touch so although its not mega bucks it is free money so I'm happy with that.

Gained a pound last week but lost it this week at fat club which I was very happy with as with having the boiler done and not preparing properly we couldn't use the cooker because the gas was off so we ended up having a macdonalds, sausage butty and a pizza hut- plus lots of cake!!! And I didn't have any time to do any real exercise so I was amazed! The food wasn't all in one sitting it was tea, breakfast and tea over the two days they were doing the work;)

The baby is coming along nicely she's desperate to stand up she can manage it if she's holding on to something but can't get to standing on her own just yet so hopefully she'll be crawling shortly but I'm in no rush as she's already getting difficult to keep hold of!

  • Hi I'm not too bad, applied for a credit card today (despite swearing I never would again!) but its for a good cause. While we were having the boiler done we knew we'd have to move the bed and it would break so we got rid of the frame and are currently sleeping on the matress on the floor, so we desperately need a new bed - the mattress is VERY uncomfortable. So we're going to get it on the credit card, but we now have some joint savings which are currently almost enough to buy the bed anyway but the account has to be paid into for a year otherwise you don't get the interest. The card is 10 months interest free so at the end of this time we will have more than enough to pay for the bed plus the interest. Need to be good and not buy anything else on it!

Not hopeful about this weeks weigh in there have been a lot of cakes in the house this week:(.

    Hope your doing ok Happy

Well you can save a huge amount on the bed, and get far better quality, if you stay well away from big brand names, and big chain stores, and buy on line instead.
  • Hi littlemissred, try dreams or sleepmkasters :) you may get a good deal :) xx im doing ok just trying to juggle the budget as able :) xx
