I understand that it's cultural but I can hear it two rooms away rather than the footie, it's flipping disconcerting! Mind you I am a bit fat chicken!

I've now applied for three jobs two with the NHS and one at a school - think the closing dates for all of them are the end of the month so hoping to get at least one interview.

OH's been on holiday this week so its been nice to spend a little bit of extra time with him, but he's been diy-ing so thats not left much time, but its all for the greater good.

Got paid on Wednesday and got an extra £80 but somehow I'm now £30 short?! Not quite sure how thats happened I did buy the dogs flea treatment and worming tablets but that was only £33 so I should still be comfortable....

Going to view some nurseries next week really don' want to go but it needs doing. I've been trying to find out what we need to look at (as neither of us have ever stepped foot in a nursery before) but can't seem to find a list

Got fat club again tonight don't think I'll have lost a lot (if anything) not had an overly bad week but OH found out he'd passed his course yesterday so we had an asda curry for tea which I really enjoyed and ate all of:D or should that be:eek:?? It was only a one off though so I'm not going to feel bad about it

Sounds like a good week to me. Fingers crossed you get an interview for one of the jobs. A curry sounds looooooovely. Mmmm! Hope you get on okay looking at nurseries. If you need tips on things to look for I could maybe ask my friend? She used to be a nursery nurse but now works as a nanny so might have some suggestions.
