Can you tell us the sorts of things you've tried before?
To follow are what I'd do to tackle the problem...but on the assumption you haven't tried them already...in which case I am flummoxed!
For the hairs I recommend a big roll of masking tape, and use the stickiness to pick up the hairs. It'll probably take ages, but it should work OK.
For the smell I would suggest that you make up a large quantity of paste made with bicarbonate of soda and water, and paint that on all over the boot space. When it has dried vacuum off. The whiff should be much lessened if not totally gone by then.
To finish off and put in a nice odour, some Zoflora disinfectant (a yellow and green box a wee bit taller than a packet of cigs, found near dettol) well diluted with water per the instructions on the box, then sprayed over the boot and let dry. You can get a spray bottle from Sainsbury's, B&Q etc for less than £1.
Hope that helps, let us know how you get on.0 -
You can buy a roller with sticky paper which works very well at ASDA (other stores may have it also), it's very inexpensive (about £1). I use it to remove pet hair.0

I have two dogs and could knit a jumper a day from the amount of hair they shed. The bootspace is particularly hard to clean because the hairs seem to weave themselves into the fabric. The best thing I have found to date is a rubber brush from JML, http://www.jmldirect.com/product.php?cid=5&pid=19. It takes a lot of elbow grease and several go's but it really does the job.Context is all.

Have you tried Neutrodol powder. That's brilliant for smells.
Sprinkle it all over the car boot and leave it overnight. Hoover off in the morning and the smell should be gone.
It does leave it smelling a bit clinical, but that does fade over a few days. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Oh boy I know this only too well I have two dogs that moult like mad and in the boot of my car can be a nightmare.
I use a rubber brush (my horses brush) only cheap £1 or so from a tack shop this gathers a lot of hair up before using tape to get the rest up, it's hard work.
for the smell I try and leave the windows open as much as poss and use a spray from the pet shops0 -

Yes. The boxer is male, the rottie female. We've had them both since they were puppies, the boxer being a year older.Context is all.
