Disabled & considering increasing my hours - tax credits question

I wonder if anyone can help me...
I'm considering increasing my hours from 25 to 30. I'm disabled but don't claim the higher disability element. My salary would increase by approx £2500. Can anyone tell me if my tax credits would increase or decrease based on this change?

Is it just working tax credits you claim? Or child tax credits also? It depends on how much you would be earning also.0

If you work more than 30 hours you may get the 30+ hours premium. This would increase your tax credits this year, but the increase in income would decrease your credits next year. Someone would have to do the sums based on actual figures to decide whether there's a net gain/loss.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

It's just working tax credit I get. I'm happy to e-mail someone figures if anyone can help. It seems crazy that I could make a decision to increase my hours and be better off this year but worse off next year. Apparently the tax credits calculator for next year won't be available until next April...very helpful!!

My Boss wants me to decide by Monday! :eek:0 -
