    Ha ha ha!:rotfl:

FULHAM is SOUTH London, sweetheart! SW6.

Didn't you know the river twists and turns????:rotfl: Although Fulham is situated north of the river - it is still SOUTH London! Ha ha ha! The Thames flows through the south of London! I bet you've never even visited London!:p

    That's made my day!:D

I said it wasn't 'south of the river'. And I do know the river twists and turns...that would be the wibbly wobbly bit. ;)
However, I am glad to have made your day.
I've never visited London, as I live there.

for those who moan that the trains stop at 11pm, well there are such things as night buses, most even run out as far as the wilds of zone 6.

I'd like to see you get back to Cambridge (which takes 45 mins on the train from King's Cross) on a night bus...

Who suggested it was? My comment on the trains was made in the context of 'where do you consider to be within commuting distance' (page 4).

It just seemed odd that after jenner stated that night buses go as far as zone 6, you complained that they didn't go to Cambridge, which is a fair way outside zone 6 by any stretch of the imagination!

Ooooooooooooh, you've let the secret out now!:j

    Sounds very nice there...................

By the way, Balham iz Zone 3. Not Zone 2.

Ahh yes you've got me there. We were halfway between Balham and Clapham south, so got the tube from clapham south zone 2/3, hence my muddlement.

I used to jump on the train at wandsworth common, strictly zone 3 despite only having a zone 1-2 pass (as there was no barrier)

Saved myself a few pennies over the years :)
