Last Minute

First of all it's worth giving credit to Last Minute.com I booked a multi trip with them that came in £600 cheaper than Expedia and at least £100 cheaper than ebookers, direct with the airline, and Orbitz. Opodo was a few quid more.

The question is, i received an email telling me i have an Eticket and all i have to do now is present my confirmation at check in. The pain in the !!!! there is that i can't do online check in, and usually when i get an eticket through an airline i get an actual printout of the ticket. Literally all i have is a flight itinerary.

Before i get robbed by phoning them does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks

A completely different situation to yours but this was all we had when we flew to Bali last year with Malaysia Airlines booked via Virgin Holidays.

There are a few geographic telephone numbers listed here for lastminute.com

Have a good look at anything on-line at Last Minute about managing your booking, and see if there are any codes there. Also check out your email carefully for any codes.

Usually there will be a code in your booking confirmation, and using that you can get a code that the airline's on-line reservations system will recognise. You might get what you need by telephoning the airline directly.

Generally the confirmation or itinerary has a booking number for the airline. It may say PNR Number or something along those lines. It is also possible that the confimation number for lastminute is the same as the airlines number for you to check in online with, some companies do that to keep things simple.

I fly frequently using E-tickets where the only thing issued at booking is a confirmation and have always been able to check in online and print off the actual ticket myself.

Your email confirmation will have a reference number that you can use for online check-in. Simple.

Unfortunately i have had to make huge changes to our itinerary which includes sadly not travelling Thailand or Mynamar.
Instead i have had to move our hub to KUL and travel around Indonesia as a substitute.

I am actually waiting for a particular and wonderful individual from this forum to phone me actually to help plan the Bali part!

Ah Bali is lovely. Hoping to back over Xmas period. Its a bummer when your plans get scuppered but I'm sure you will enjoy your holiday. Bangkok will still be there to visit again.

My parents had the same situation with a ticket confirmation from Ebookers (I think) no airline booking system reference only the agency reference.
Looks like you will need to call the airline for it.
Hope you enjoy your new adventure.
