No picture on portable tv but sound ok

Any ideas folks
We have a portable tv/dvd combi we keep in the kitchen and the picture has dissappeared. The sound is fine. Also it wont work the dvd part i.e. it wont eject the dvd thats in.
Any help much appreciated as no idea wether should try and fix it or get a new one.
