hello bloodnok - not sure what model you're using - i'm have the tempus and the time comes on when i touch the handle bar at the top of the radio - i received mine a week ago and i'm loving it - such clear sound and so user friendly!

I've tried your suggestion with the info button, but when the radio comes on at 6.50am, the display just shows BBC R4 and DAB * and underneath that Alarm On.....
I've got the Soundworks 500.
Looks like I'll have to live with it !

On top of the radio on the left hand side is a button named Info - while the radio is on, press this button repetedly untill the time & date are displayed - you should leave it on this setting if you wish the time to be displayed when the radio fires up in the morning... ...workz for me anyway.

Ordered one & it arrived last Friday. It's fab.
Have just looked again on Amazon to buy another one for a friend & the price has now increased to £74.99.
Those who managed to buy one @ £39.99, we certainly got a bargin.
