hi recently been made redundant, receiving contribution jsa allowance for the past 6 weeks, but decided to take pensions to increase my income, receiving £135 before tax approx, will this effect the jsa, and do they claim it back if receiving both, or do you get both just for the 26 week period any help please thanks

Anything over £50 a week will reduce JSA(C) penny for penny.0

my hubby was recently made redundant and also gets a small occupational pension of £120 per week
I am on Incapacity benefit and we have one child aged 18 at home
my husband has NOR qualified for either income based or contribution based JSA as we are above the threshold of what the government says a couple needs to live on ( I believe in the region of £115-120 per week)
so I think you would lose your JSA if you receive a pension0
